Rebecca Riegel - Serving in Massachusetts

The calling of The Navigators is "to advance the gospel of Jesus and His kingdom into the nations through spiritual generations of laborers living and discipling among the lost."

I met The Navigators as a student at the University of South Florida. Navigator staff came alongside me and helped me to grow in my relationship with God. God used this time to grow me in my faith and love for Him and to give me a heart and a vision for evangelism and discipleship.

After graduating from USF, I joined The Navigators' intern staff program "EDGE Corps". I began full-time collegiate ministry at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in Fall 2007. After three years of staff training at UMass, God has led me to help launch The Navigators' Boston campus ministries. There are 61 college and university campuses in Boston with over 254,000 students. My ministry focus is at Boston University. At BU there are 31,000 students. Less than 1% of them would identify themselves as followers of Christ.

Ministry at BU involves relational evangelism, leading Bible studies and one-to-one discipleship, with the desire to help students grow in faith, as disciples of Jesus and as laborers for His Kingdom.

Please pray that students at BU would be drawn to God.
